Lesson Objective:  Students will demonstrate knowledge of the main figureheads of the Reformation and their Theological, Economical & Political Ideas and the conflicts and good they created. 


Subject Matter Content Standard:  7.9  Students analyze the historical developments of the Reformation.

Reformation (e.g., Desiderius Erasmus, Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale).



Background: The Reformation years were 1500 - 1700 A.D.  We will look at some interesting websites that will give you information on the background information of the Reformation Period and the main mover and shaker Men: Desiderius Erasmus, Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale, and some of their main ideas.  We will also  examine how these ideas drastically changed the known World then and now.
